Browns Babies Puppies Sleeping

About Browns Babies

Eighteen years ago, I became addicted to 4 paws and fur. That sounds crazy, but any animal lover would know precisely what I mean. Dogs and puppies became my passion. I became a stay-at-home mom raising my three sons and was going stir-crazy as I had always worked. So Edward and I thought some company of a dog would help, and well, need I say more? I just fell in love with it and began my journey. The kids loved my home, and we loved what we built as a family.  Eighteen years later, I still love every minute of raising the perfect puppies to add to so many families. The smiles have been endless and just melt our hearts.

PRICING

Edward and I have always strived to keep our pricing as competitive as possible and pride ourselves on offering our Browns Babies at the best price possible. Below is our standard rate for different breeds offered:

Base Price:

  • $2000 TO $3500 — Cavapoo Puppies

  • $1500 TO $2000 — Maltipoo Puppies

  • $1500 — Shihpoo Puppies

  • $1500 — Poodle Puppies

A $200 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. This can be done via Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, or PayPal, whichever you are most comfortable with; however, the balance is due in CASH at puppy pick-up. All puppies are still available until a deposit is received. The $200 deposit might seem like a lot to you, but please remember that the deposit applies toward the total price of your puppy. Plus, we want to ensure you are as serious about your puppy as we are about giving you the best experience possible.

*This rarely happens, but we reserve the right to return deposits for any reason with prior notification.

Wait Times

WAIT TIME

Browns Babies does not offer a waiting list. We get numerous inquiries daily to keep up with so many folks. We are often asked, “How long will I need to wait to get my puppy?” The answer is that as soon as you see them on my site, I am ready for reservations, and then my veterinarian, Dr. Scott, will examine each pup and give me the ok. The typical pick-up time is around 8 to 10 weeks of age and within a week of posting and reservations.

You can rest easy that once your deposit has been paid, I will make sure you can pick up your new puppy at the first available date. (Fridays and Saturdays that is, of course, preferred)

PICK-UP / DELIVERY

We do not ship our puppies under any circumstances. However, we are not opposed to you flying in, and then flying in the cabin with our babies back to your home. :)

We always love it when you can pick up your puppy directly from Edward and I at our home. I certainly understand that there may be circumstances that make this especially challenging or even impossible for you.  When time permits, we also offer delivery services and can travel up to 200 miles from our home for a competitive fee.

I believe the pick-up experience is complete with an opportunity to meet Edward and myself. I want time to answer your questions, so please plan for at least 30 minutes on your pick-up date/time.

In regards to the payment of the final balance, we prefer Cash.  You can hand your payment directly to me or Edward on Pick-Up Day.

If it has been a while since you've had a puppy (or maybe you are a first-time puppy parent), we encourage you to read over the resources I have shared and our Puppy Supply List here.

Travel Tips

TRAVEL TIPS

When our puppies travel home with their forever families, more often than not,  they travel long distances by car or on planes to get to their new homes. We regularly hear back from our families on how well their puppy did while traveling. We want to help ensure that every part of your trip to pick up your puppy is the great day you have waited for!

Choose how you plan to pick up your puppy below for an appropriate travel checklist for every part of your trip and exciting day with your new puppy.

Our puppies frequently travel home with their new families on long drives. Often, your little puppy will be so excited to meet you that they tire themselves out and nap most of the way home! We want to help ensure that your trip to pick up your puppy becomes the great experience we have planned it to be for you! Before arranging your trip, there are several things you may need to consider.

  • WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR A PUPPY?

  • I REQUESTED MY POO, WHAT NOW?

  • WHEN WILL I GET MY PUPPY?

  • WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY PICK-UP DATE?
Once you have picked out your new puppy, we will schedule pick-up times for Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon to 5 central. At this time, your puppy is 8 to 10 weeks old, and dependent upon the maturity of each pup determines when he or she is ready for their new family. We can't wait to meet you and look forward to taking some pictures of you and your new puppy for the first time. Don't worry... Edward is great with a camera, and I look forward to walking you through every step of successfully integrating your new puppy into your home. This includes helpful information about vet visits, choosing a groomer, our Health Guarantee, feeding and crate training tips, and even some CHEERIOs for the ride home. :) Your puppy's Vaccination Record will be given to you with all the vaccinations, deworming medications, and the administration dates your puppy has received thus far. We encourage you to give this record to your vet at your puppy's first appointment.
  • WHAT WILL I NEED FOR MY PUPPY?
Edward and I want to make this first step as easy as possible. We will ensure you have all the travel supplies you need, like a starter pack of food and treats, a harness and leash, familiar toys, and comfort cloth to get you started! We recommend you review our Shopping List recommendations before arrival to ensure you are fully prepared for your pick-up date.
  • WILL I RECEIVE A LIST OF VACCINATIONS THAT MY PUPPY HAS RECEIVED?
On Pick Up Day, you will receive your puppy's Vaccination Record, which will list all age-appropriate vaccinations your puppy has received, as well as the dates of administration. Also noted on the Vaccination Record are the deworming medications your puppy may have received. This Vaccination Record is designed for you to give to your vet at your puppy's first visit to schedule the subsequent required vaccinations. Your vet will guide you from there for your puppy's continued health.
  • WHAT FOOD DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR MY PUPPY?
